THE WORTH THE VEIL™ ARCHIVE

Archive Submission Terms

These terms explain the permissions, responsibilities, and editorial considerations that apply when you submit a photograph and story for possible inclusion in the Worth the Veil™ Archive.

Effective date: September 15, 2026

Agreement to These Terms

By submitting a photograph, written story, or other material to the Worth the Veil™ Archive, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Archive Submission Terms.

Submitting material does not guarantee publication, inclusion in the Archive, or consideration for any future editorial feature. Worth the Veil™ may accept, decline, edit, postpone, remove, or discontinue a submission or published feature at its discretion.

Ownership and Permission

You retain any ownership rights you hold in the photograph, story, and other material you submit.

By submitting material, you confirm that:

• You created and own the submitted material, or you have obtained permission from the photographer, copyright holder, or other applicable rights holder.

• You have the authority to submit the material and grant Worth the Veil™ the permissions described in these terms.

• The submission does not violate another person’s copyright, privacy, publicity, contractual, or other legal rights.

• Every adult prominently pictured has agreed to the submission, or you are legally authorized to act on that person’s behalf.

Owning a copy of a photograph—or being pictured in it—does not necessarily mean that you own its copyright. If another person took the photograph, you are responsible for obtaining permission from the photographer or copyright holder before submitting it.

Permission Granted to Worth the Veil™

By submitting material, you grant Worth the Veil™ a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, publish, display, distribute, and promote the submitted photograph and story in connection with the Worth the Veil™ Archive and related editorial content.

This permission includes use on the Worth the Veil™ website, email communications, and social-media channels owned or managed by Worth the Veil™. It also allows reasonable formatting changes, including cropping, resizing, adjusting layout, and editing accompanying text for clarity, grammar, and length.

You retain your ownership rights. Worth the Veil™ will not claim ownership of your submission or sell the submitted photograph as a standalone product.

Editorial Review and Credit

Worth the Veil™ may review a submission, request additional information, or contact you to verify permissions before deciding whether to publish it.

If a submission is selected, Worth the Veil™ may edit the accompanying written material for clarity, grammar, tone, and length while making reasonable efforts to preserve the meaning of your story.

When practical, Worth the Veil™ will use the identification preference selected on the submission form and provide appropriate photographer credit when accurate credit information has been supplied. Worth the Veil™ cannot guarantee that attribution will remain attached when content is shared, reposted, cached, or distributed by third parties.

Voluntary Submission and Compensation

Submitting material to the Worth the Veil™ Archive is voluntary. Unless Worth the Veil™ agrees otherwise in a separate written agreement, you will not receive payment, royalties, products, services, or other compensation for submitting material or for its publication.

A submission does not create an employment, partnership, sponsorship, endorsement, or other commercial relationship between you and Worth the Veil™.

Submission Standards

Please do not submit:

• Photographs in which a child is the primary subject.

• Material that is unlawful, threatening, harassing, hateful, defamatory, obscene, intentionally misleading, or otherwise harmful.

• Material that infringes another person’s copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, contractual, or other legal rights.

• Private or sensitive information that you are not authorized to share.

• Artificially generated images or materially altered images presented as authentic wedding photographs.

Worth the Veil™ may decline or remove any submission that does not meet these standards or that it determines is unsuitable for the Archive.

Privacy and Submission Records

Worth the Veil™ may collect and retain the contact information, permission confirmations, submitted material, and related correspondence needed to review the submission, verify rights, communicate with you, maintain publication records, and administer the Archive.

Please do not include sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for the submission. If material is published, the photograph, story, and identification preference you selected may become publicly accessible and may be copied or shared by others.

Personal information will otherwise be handled in accordance with the Worth the Veil™ Privacy Policy.

Removal Requests

You may request that Worth the Veil™ stop using a published submission by contacting us through the website. Worth the Veil™ will make reasonable efforts to remove the material from channels it directly controls.

Removal may not be possible from previously distributed emails, printed materials, third-party reposts, cached pages, search-engine results, backups, or other copies outside the direct control of Worth the Veil™. A removal request does not affect uses made before the request was received.

Worth the Veil™ may retain limited records of the submission and permissions when reasonably necessary for legal, administrative, or recordkeeping purposes.

Changes and General Terms

Worth the Veil™ may update these Archive Submission Terms when its practices, services, or legal obligations change. The effective date displayed at the top of this page identifies the current version.

Your submission will generally be governed by the version of these terms in effect when it was submitted, unless a change is required by law or you agree to updated terms.

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect. A failure by Worth the Veil™ to enforce a provision does not waive its right to enforce that provision later.

These Archive Submission Terms and the Worth the Veil™ Privacy Policy constitute the agreement concerning submissions to the Archive. Questions may be submitted through the Worth the Veil™ Contact page.
